The Ambassadors Club meets each month on the Tuesday morning before
the Wednesday evening dinner meeting. The members meet on that Tuesday
at 11:00 a.m. at Dollar Clubhouse and many then go for lunch afterwards at Creekside. It is mostly composed of women but men are welcome, also
Our current Ambassadors Chair is Ann Hawley.
Club members discuss plans and make arrangements for the next evening's dinner
meeting so that it runs smoothly. These women make the room reservations
and inform the Gateway staff of other special needs, lay out any handouts to
be discussed the following evening, and arrive early to greet the guests in
the lobby with a warm smile and a welcoming attitude. It is their goal
to set a welcoming and relaxing tone for the evening. The team
also conduct the
raffle at the end of each dinner meeting. Each month
they work diligently and discreetly to be sure that things will go well.
It's also an opportunity to make some new and special friends.
